Plane Miracles is in a multi-year process of acquiring AMOC status for AD 2009-13-06. We are wondering if other operators would find in beneficial or convenient for a "permanent key" installation in the nose baggage door lock.
A "permanent key" installation is exactly as it sounds. It would give allowance / permission to glue the key into the lock with silicone or another easily broken bonding agent.
What are your thoughts?

We used to do this in the past but our FSDO had a great amount of heartburn over it since they believed it defeated the inherent safety of taking the key out of the nose baggage door (the locking mechanism)and argued that it was a violation of the type design
We went with getting all the keys in our fleet (nose baggage and nacelle) the same - which was a pain doing through piper
Always interested in other solutions
