Just want to make you all aware there is a new proposed AD on the Federal Register for all PA31, dated: 06/03/2014.
This AD is related to Piper SB 1257. Cheers.

Good catch - Link follows Docket No. FAA-2014-0338I believe this happened to an operator near us and when we investigated in our fleet the situation wasn't a problem because of the way the fuel pumps are mounted when using dual mags (which we still use in our fleet) We will verify this again and ask for an exemption to this in the AD if the engine has dual mags installed |
