Hello All - Hope summer is going well
We are currently developing (with the help of one of Alaska's pro NDI guys) tests for various areas of the PA31-350 fleet
We are looking at implementing inspections, using eddy current where appropriate, in the following areas:
Engine Attach Wing Attach Horizontal Attach Vertical Attach Main and Nose Gear Attach Flap, Aileron, Elevator and Rudder Attach
The Wing Spar Inspection Procedures have already been written by the NDI guy and tried on 4 Navajos a while back - we will be continuing this process with our older aircraft shortly.
If anyone has any questions, comments, or additional areas - please let us know and we will attempt to incorporate them into this process.
Once each inspection is designed, we will publish the procedures here for your use. All we ask is that you publish any results you get, both good or bad, along with the times on the aircraft for comparison purposes.
Please use this thread for general comments and ideas - I will make an additional thread for each area of interest
