Good morning all,
We have just entered into a purchase agreement to buy a PA-31-350 and will be going through a prebuy and closing in the next several weeks. We are a small 135 air taxi service in SWFL currently flying Cirrus aircraft. We are looking to improve our service ability and gain the ability to fly to the bahamas, we have settled on the 350 to be the right airplane. I will be combing through the pages learning as much as I can, have already learned a lot. Any thoughts on prebuy things to look for in next week or so will be appreciated.

Welcome, the biggest concern I have with using the Chieftain commercially anymore is the manufacture's support. If I were living in Florida I would go spend the day with the Piper Factory people and find out they're opinion. Piper has not been very supportive in the past. This forum came from the lack of Piper support. A Piper representative told me the Tecnam P2012 ( www.tecnam.com/aircraft/p2012-traveller/ ) is a well supported aircraft.
