Hi all,
Ordering new flap bushes and the IPC lists a bewildering amount of bushes!
Why are they all listed as x4? From what I can see there's only two of each (one for each flap)?
86102-104 Bushing - outboard track x4 86102-105 Bushing - centre track x4 86102-106 Bushing - inboard track x4
IPC is not very revealing but can anyone tell me what the below items are? Could the be the spacing washers (2 on each side of roller or bushes)?
41413-05 Bushing - outboard, centre, inboard x12
Thanks in advance!

There's a Piper Aircraft maintenance and parts supplier in Boise, Idaho that can sell you the right parts. I've had a couple parts question in the past that these helpful folks found me the correct answer and parts. They also give discounts . www.westair.com/i-fly-a/piper/

Bill at West Air was very friendy but alas couldn't tell me what parts were what.
I'm going to take a stab at the terminology - can the term 'bush' apply to both the bolt and the roller that it is inserted into? This would equal the 12 parts the IPC is referring to.
Seems strange the two parts (bolt and the roller) don't get separate part numbers though.

Buy the parts described for one flap then order the other side after you find out.
Let us know here what you learn.

There is an upper and lower bushing at each of the flap track positions for a total of 6 bushings for each flap, 12 for the whole airplane. Piper typically (but not always) lists the quantity required for the whole airplane, not for just one flap.
