Curious if we have enough different folks active on here to compare some notes on aircraft utilization.
How many hours per year per aircraft?

Average cycles/hour or average stage length?
2.05 cycles/hour, or 29 minutes

Typical flight profile?
Climb to IFR MEA (7000 or so), cruise for 10-20 minutes, descend.

Lots of cycles on the gear and flaps, lots of time at climb power which is hard on turbos and cylinders.

Lots of 5 to 5.5 hour missions hardly ever go above 65% power in cruise.
