Who do you use for the various transmissions (flap, wiper, cowl flap)? I'm not in need right now, but since there's no established time on these and very little in the way of servicing or inspection criteria I'm thinking it might be nice next off season to be proactive and have someone go through some of it, especially given our high cycles/hours and the attendant wear on the flap and cowl flap systems.

We send it right to dukes though it's speedy.
We have 4 cowl flap transmissions there now and the cost is around $13,000 for overhaul.

Try Pifer Airmotive in Waterford Michigan, I've had good luck with them. 800 878 0909 I've sent a cowl flap motor there and bought recirc fan motors from them before. Not had any problems but I'm kind of leery about sending something like a flap or cowl flap trans because it seems like its sort of just one old guy puttering around in his shop. You had good luck with their work?

They did a flap motor and flap actuator for me and I didn't have any problems, worked great. I've gotten lots of blower motors and nacelle pump from them as well.
