Good Morning All: I got an AMOC for AD 2016-08-18 to change the outlet fittings on our aircraft with J2B engines. It gives you plenty of clearance from the turbo support and gives you more flexibility on the position of the fitting. I've attached the documents I submitted to the FAA, if you feel this might help you please feel free to use them for your own application. AMOC.doc (27 KB) AMOC Approval letter - AD 2016-08-18.pdf (334.33 KB)

Interesting - do you have any pics off the new setup you could post?

Fuel Pump installed on TIO 540-J2B Rev 1.odg (85.41 KB) Here are a few pictures. We started working this up after we had trouble getting the fitting into the proper position to get the 3/16" clearance. We kept having trouble getting the fitting into the proper position without it either being too loose and leaking and yet not being able to get another revolution on it.

We got lucky on the last set we did and everything worked out. I hate pipe threads though, these things should have straight threads, jam nut, and a boss fitting o-ring.
