Anyone have the inner gear doors removed on their Navajo?
Any opinions on this, worth it, not worth it?

Warbelows has done a couple. I honestly am not sure that I see the real benefit to it, the only issues we've ever had with the inboard gear doors (knock on wood) were worn parts letting the MLG hang low enough while on the uplock hook that with the BLR MLW kit the tire would keep the door from closing all the way and you'd have a complete cycle but a gear unsafe light. Edit: If you want to get away from the hinge AD Aero Twin sells STC stainless hinges that aren't subject to the AD.

We have 14 of 15 removed.
Anything we can do to get the make the gear a bit less finicky we are all for and getting rid of a few switches and actuators fits that for us.
We have a ton of hinges now if u need some steel ones to rid yourself of the AD though

Hi Tim,
Where did u buy the STC from for the removal of the inner doors? I'm in Australia and am looking for the same reasons you did. Also id like to have a single gear speed to remember.
