There is an NPRM now active for FS322 - checking for cracks and adding doubler

Comment as needed. Comments due Feb 17, 2017.

We have done 5 so far and haven't had any issues.

Commented. Basically said that 1. it seems excessive to start the inspections at 3,000 hours given that the cracks were found (if I recall correctly) on a 20,000 hour plus machine and 2. for sheet metal parts like that dye pen seems like overkill, should be able to use a visual inspection and 10x glass, with dye pen to confirm if a crack is suspected.
