Two items regarding 200F series pumps. 1. Lycoming is still back ordered on these, its been over a month and we still haven't gotten our warranty pump. I've called both our distibutor and Lycoming but it hasn't helped. 2. As far as the clearance on the left engine outlet, this seems to be a problem. I am thinking about installing an AN912 bushing and then an AN922-6 elbow, I think the bushing/elbow combination will move the line outboard enough to solve any clearance issues. Any thoughts on this? I'll have to look at exactly how we did ours, but we didn't really have any trouble...are you running a -J2B or -J2BD? I'm glad we've got a pump for each side on the shelf.

Yep - trying to use just a vice is a real pain :-) And you stand a very real chance of damaging something. In my perfect imaginary world, they would re-design these with a straight thread fitting sealed with a boss o-ring and leather washer like the hyd system uses.

We are running both J2B and J2BD, working towards an all J2B fleet. The J2BD have not presented a clearance problem. The problem I'm having is on the outlet side on the J2B engines.

Here's a new one for you guys. Engine won't shut off at idle cutoff. One night guys check out the rigging, got good stop-to-stop, so figure we may need a servo. Track down a servo, take the old one off, and while it's off just for kicks and grins try to verify that it's not getting fuel somewhere else, lo and behold, the servo is fine, the problem was fuel leaking out the relief valve of the fuel pump through the deck pressure line and into the intake upstream of the fuel servo. About 1000 hours since overhaul.
